We have one pet duck who lays one egg per day. Her eggs equal two chicken eggs and taste like chicken eggs.
She is not noisy and is a wonderful pet who loves to eat the slugs and the garden worms,
Thanks Diane! Until recently, we had a neighbor with a duck. I liked hearing it quack… it was cute.
Today I saw baby quail at the farm store and had the momentary thought, “how about quail?” They were SO TEENY!
I wonder what happened to your neighbor’s duck, for they can live to be twelve years! We bring Olive inside during the winter nights. She has a large dog kennel.
