The Corvallis-Albany Farmers’ Markets open up one week from today, Saturday, April 19th. The market director, Rebecca Landis, has agreed to provide a gift certificate to us as a prize for a drawing to be held at the end of our challenge! What’s in season right now?

According to the really handy chart over at the Heavenly Harvest website, it’s leeks, lettuce and garlic for April. May will bring us more of that, plus herbs, mustard, radishes, and… mmmmm… strawberries! By the way, that photo of the lovely purple cauliflower in the banner was taken at Heavenly Harvest.

Information about CSA boxes will be on this resources page: Community Supported Agriculture I found out that sign-ups for the Gathering Together CSA closed in March, but I’ll keep researching this for the next few days and adding info. If anyone out there has info on CSAs still accepting sign-ups, please leave a comment on this post!
