CSA Page Updates

By

I’ve started updating the Community Supported Agriculture page with information for 2009. I know there are more farms out there in the Willamette Valley that offer CSA programs. If anyone wants to drop me a line with details, send it to mwvlocal at gmail dot com. Meanwhile, I’ll keep searching online.

Laughing Duck Farm CSA

By

Laughing Duck Farm, located in Lewisburg, is still accepting applications for their CSA program, which started in the first week of June. Farmer Drew Mosher says he will pro-rate for the missed weeks and is looking at a lot of great stuff in the ground right now. For prices and a list of products head over to the website’s CSA page. Pick-up locations include Corvallis, Lewisburg, Newport and Portland. The program runs through October 31st. They also have an egg share that’s on a separate program — at a very reasonable price. Best of luck to the farm, and I hope some folks will sign up for this CSA. I think I will sign up if they’re still taking customers at the end of June!

Pick up options are as follows: Good Samaritan Hospital, Friday, 1pm to 4:30pm Heavenly Harvest Farm, Tuesday or Friday, 1pm to 7pm Corvallis Market, Wednesday, 8am to 1pm Beaverton Market, Wednesday, 3pm to 7pm Ecotrust Market, Thursday, 6pm to 8pm Eastbank Market, Thursday, 6pm to 8pm Corvallis Market, Saturday, 9am to 1pm Newport Market,...
