Daily Barometer write up of Empty Bowls event

OSU’s Daily Barometer had a great writeup on Monday about the Empty Bowls event this past weekend. More than 175 people attended and made donations — congratulations, volunteers! The meal proceeds are all then given to a local hunger-fighting organization, such as a soup kitchen or OSU’s very own Emergency Food Pantry. Empty Bowls events can be sponsored by local artists, community service organizations, churches or schools.
